Dalmacallan Met Mast Planning Application Submitted

A planning application has been submitted to Dumfries and Galloway Council for the erection of a temporary meteorological mast located on open hill ground, at Craes Hill, in Dalmacallan Forest, approximately 4.7 km south of the village of Moniaive.   The met mast will be up to a maximum height of 91m and will be used to gather wind speed data to help inform the design and layout of the proposed Dalmacallan Wind Farm.

The application has been submitted by SLR Consulting Ltd on behalf of Wind Power North One Ltd, a company wholly owned by Vestas Development A/S who are developing the Dalmacallan wind farm in association with Force 9 Energy.
