An application has been approved by the Secretary of State for our proposal to build a 6 turbine wind farm on farmland between Ford and Lowick that will generate enough electricity for more than 10,000 homes. The site is 14km south west of Berwick-Upon-Tweed and it is currently used for growing arable crops and the grazing of sheep and cattle. The turbines will be a maximum of 110.5 metres high to the tip of the blades. The wind farm will also consist of a landscaped substation and access tracks.
